WCBR Kona Big Wave at El Porto

Saturday - February 22nd - The second stop on of the West Coast Board Riders North Central Division Contest at El Porto featured teams from Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, South Bay, Venice, and Northern LAVenice put it’s best and finest up against the region in this, the last stop of the WCBR season before the Lower’s Championships. We fielded a full team, put up a great fight and ended up in 4th place just above Seal Beach and below Northern LA. Huntington and Southbay battled it out for 1st and 2nd all day with Huntington taking home their 2nd win of the season. Big thanks to Guy Okazaki and all of the surfers that supported the club. Beck Adler took home our MVP trophy having scored the highest wave score and whammy total of the day. We look forward to seeing everyone out at Grom Day in May. Gary AdlerVSA Contest Director
